Teeth Whitening in Dubbo

Whitening your teeth is a safe and effective way to achieve a brighter, more confident smile. At our practice, we recommend combining our in-chair whitening treatment with a take-home kit for optimal results. However, you’re welcome to choose either option on its own if that suits your preferences.

Are You a Candidate for Whitening?

Before starting any teeth whitening treatment, it’s important to ensure your teeth and gums are in good health. During your consultation, we’ll assess your oral condition and check for concerns such as white spots or cavities. An OPG X-ray is often recommended to ensure a thorough evaluation.

If you have older crowns or fillings, we suggest whitening your natural teeth first. This allows us to match any new restorations to your brighter smile, ensuring a seamless result.

In-Chair Whitening

Our ZOOM! Whitening system delivers fast, same-day results, making it a great choice if you’re short on time or need a quick smile boost. The entire procedure takes just over an hour and is carried out in the comfort of our dental practice. For stubborn stains, we can reapply the whitening gel to achieve your desired level of brightness.

Boutique Take-Home Whitening

Take-Home Trays

Your take-home kit includes custom-fitted trays and professional-grade whitening gel. This option allows you to whiten your teeth at your own pace. You can use the kit independently or as a follow-up to your in-chair session.

The results are long-lasting, and the process is flexible—you can adjust the frequency of gel application to minimise sensitivity or stop once you’re happy with the shade of your teeth.

Maintaining Your Brighter Smile

To keep your smile looking fresh, we recommend using your take-home kit 2-3 times after each six-monthly dental checkup. YIf you frequently enjoy beverages like coffee, tea, or red wine, you may need to touch up more often to maintain your results.

FAQ

Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes, we use only clinically proven systems developed through extensive research and testing. Zoom Whitening is perfectly safe for teeth and gums, provided it is applied under the supervision of a trained and accredited dental professional.

Will it be painful?

While you will experience temporary tooth and gum sensitivity to cold after the whitening procedure, symptoms go away 1-3 days. Zoom whitening formulas include desensitising agents to help minimise these symptoms. We can administer fluoride gel to help combat the temporary sensitivity if needed.
Are there any risks?
Zoom teeth whitening sessions will not affect existing restorations, such as fillings or crowns, and will not weaken, soften, damage or rub away your enamel.

How do I keep my smile white?

We provide a complete debrief, so you can care for your smile and keep it bright as long as possible. Some tips include avoiding staining foods and smoking, and caring for your teeth with flossing, brushing, and checkups.
